Dr. Anirban Dasgupta at IIT Guwahati

Dr. Anirban Dasgupta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. He is also affiliated with the Department of Design and the Centre for Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems (CICPS) at IIT Guwahati.

His research addresses smart-city problems through intelligent systems, with major application tracks in smart healthcare, smart transportation and smart education. His work combines machine learning, signal and image processing, IoT, embedded systems and smart sensing for real-world applications.

He serves as Faculty Placement Representative for the EEE Department and Convenor of the Signal Processing and Machine Learning (SPML) group. He is also an Editorial Team Member of Scientific Reports, Nature Portfolio.
